Hannah Rolleman, GM & Founder, Blue Belt
I am a Founder and the General Manager of Ethereal BJJ, where I am also a kids and women’s BJJ instructor. My journey in athletics began at age 5 when I started ballet and danced competitively until I was 16, when I was accepted into the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. I went on to teach ballet for 5 years, sharing my passion for movement with others before transitioning to CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting in 2018. In 2019, I competed at my first National Championships, and since then, I’ve earned multiple junior and senior provincial titles across two different weight classes, as well as my first national title in 2021.
In 2022, I discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and it quickly became the perfect extension of my athletic journey. I've had the privilege of competing in BJJ across Ontario, the United States, and Europe, including at the European Championships and World Championships. Outside of training, I love spending time with my rescue dog, Rocky, nail appointments with friends, and taking Pilates classes.

Konstantyn Polyakov, Black Belt
Like for many of us, my martial arts journey was one of self-discovery.
As a teenager, I once was a wandering soul, unsure of my abilities and limits, and often afraid of my own shadow.
Martial arts transformed me. Each obstacle along the way helped me understand my strengths and confront my fears.
Through the highs and lows, the victories and defeats, I learned that true strength lies in getting back up and continuing the fight.
Over the years, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu became my home, my best friend and my greatest challenge.
I am forever grateful for the day I walked into the gym and put on a gi.

Gianni Converso, Black Belt
I love jiu-jitsu. I love training, learning and teaching. I have trained under Professor Egor Radzik for my entire jiu-jitsu career and I’m honoured to be his first white belt to black belt.
As a member of the coaches team, I’m committed to the development and technical improvement of all our students.

Erin Veich, Black Belt
I began my journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2010 while living in Vancouver, not fully aware of the profound impact this sport would have on my life. After my very first class, I was instantly captivated and dedicated myself to training as often as possible.
Eventually, I earned my purple belt and made the move to Toronto, where I had the privilege of training under Professor Egor Radzik. After receiving my brown belt from him, I joined his coaching team, where I gained invaluable experience.
Now, as a black belt, I have the honor of regularly training and teaching alongside the talented team at Ethereal BJJ. I am passionate about sharing the techniques and insights I’ve acquired over the past 15 years, and I remain committed to helping others grow in their jiu-jitsu journey.

Parker, Black Belt
I began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while in the US military in 2003. After nearly 20 years of training and competing across the US and Canada, I earned my black belt from Egor Radzik in 2022.
I believe in the power of fundamentals in BJJ and am an adamant proponent of perfecting details. I absolutely love training, but I love teaching even more. I take great pride in teaching all levels of class, from kids through advanced. When I’m not on the mats, I spend my days as an architectural fabrication designer and special project consultant.
I’m also a harmonica virtuoso, a bonsai enthusiast, and a scotch aficionado.

Matthew Stein, Black Belt, 2nd degree
I've been practicing jiu-jitsu for as long as I can remember, starting in 2000 when I was 9 years old. As a kid, BJJ gave me the confidence that I could defend myself. As an adult, the physical and mental benefits of regular training, both on and off the mats, have kept me coming back for over 25 years.
As a coach, I emphasize jiu-jitsu as "the Gentle Art," focusing on the power of technique and timing to overcome strength and size.

Jullian Ablaza, Black Belt
Coach Jullian has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 13 years. He found his passion for martial arts through the striking arts like Muay Thai, karate and boxing, but instantly fell in love with BJJ from day one. He has always considered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a rock and a stabilizing force in his life.
For Jullian, jiu-jitsu is more than about submissions and combat, it’s about problem solving, community building and building self-confidence. A passionate coach, he loves helping stoke the love for jiu-jitsu in all his students. He enjoys watching people fall in love with jiu-jitsu as he did and watch the students at Ethereal carve their own paths and journey in the martial art.

Adi Latific, Brown Belt
I have always had a detached appreciation for the MMA skillset and submission grappling in particular, but it had never occurred to me to begin practicing. As I approached my mid-thirties, it had become apparent to me that a regimen of physical exercise is something I needed in my life, but I found I did not engage with traditional gym workouts. A few days after my 34th birthday, I walked into a nearby BJJ school and met Professor Egor.
When I had concluded the sparring portion of my first class and gotten my ass completely handed to me, I immediately saw the potential. This was a solid physical workout combined with skill building and problem solving. I began training in earnest and never looked back. The positive effects of the training can be seen in every aspect of my personal and professional life.
I take a conceptual approach rooted in physics and anatomy and believe in studying grappling as a science and expressing it as an art, and I strive to always be of service to my teammates.

Cass Emmett, Brown Belt
With recent gym lore going how it’s going, I think it’s probably going to get me some weird looks when I say my martial arts journey started in self-defense. But in fairness, I had just moved across the country to a city with one of the highest crime rates in Canada.
It took virtually no time for me to discover that punching and kicking rules 🤘, and I continued training when I moved back to Toronto. For me, self-defense was a gateway to more specialized martial arts. In 2015, I started training at an MMA gym and fell in love with BJJ. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to train with amazing people at all levels of the sport and have taught kickboxing, self-defense, MMA, and grappling.
In 2022, I started training under Professor Egor and was awarded my brown belt in BJJ.
My primary focus is no-gi BJJ, and my passion is helping women develop and grow within the sport. See you on the mats!

Antonino "Dreamer" Mulé, Muay Thai
I began my martial arts journey after emigrating from Italy to Canada at the age of 8. I first joined a local taekwondo academy, where I developed a deep passion for the art of striking. I’ve been training and competing in taekwondo ever since, earning my 2nd-degree black belt.
In 2012, I discovered Muay Thai and was instantly captivated by the discipline and intensity of the sport. I have been training and competing in Muay Thai for 11 years.
Muay Thai Credentials:
- WKA USA North American Light Cruiserweight Muay Thai Champion
- WAMTAC Muay Thai Ontario Light Heavyweight Champion
- Thai Boxing Association-USA Cruiserweight Muay Thai Silver MedalistI have been coaching and officiating in taekwondo for six years and coaching Muay Thai for the past five years. My focus is on developing strong, technical fighters and helping students grow in the sport.

Ross Neilson, Brown Belt
My martial arts journey started like many others in the '80s, when I began training in Tae Kwon Do as a teenager. After a few years, I discovered kickboxing through a trial class with the legendary Canadian fighter Jean-Yves Thériault—and I was instantly hooked. Later, when I moved to Toronto after university, I was fortunate enough to live just down the street from the original location of Siam #1. This marked the start of my decade+ long journey into Muay Thai.
After taking some time off, I found Primal MMA (which would later become Ethereal BJJ) and returned to Muay Thai. It didn’t take long to be convinced to try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. From the moment I stepped on the mats, I was completely captivated. Eight years later, I was honoured to receive my brown belt from Professor Egor, who also gave me the opportunity to teach the morning no-gi classes.
As a student of the sport, I am always eager to expand my knowledge and am equally passionate about teaching and helping others along their martial arts journey. My focus is on helping students become well-rounded grapplers and, as an older practitioner, I prioritize techniques that are effective for students of all ages, levels, and physical abilities.

Terrence Hand, Brown Belt
I began my martial arts journey in 2007, inspired by the early UFC days and the action-packed Van Damme movies I grew up watching.
I trained in various styles throughout 2009 and 2014, I found my true passion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Egor Radzik. Under his leadership and the guidance of my fellow coaches, I continue to hone a deeper understanding of the art.
For several years now, I’ve had the privilege of working with young athletes, and I’m proud to say many of them have earned Provincial and National titles as well as having competed at the World Championships.
My goal is to instill not only technical skills but also discipline and mental resilience in every athlete I coach. It has been incredibly rewarding to see them grow both on and off the mat. I'm passionate about jiu-jitsu and dedicated to helping the next generation of champions reach their full potential.

"Captain" Jack Hemmings, Boxing
Boxing has given me a purpose like nothing else. I have dedicated over a decade to the sport and don’t plan on stopping until I get to where I need to. I have been teaching boxing for about half that time and is a growing passion of mine. To see how I can change peoples lives through boxing is a very rewarding feeling. One day I will have to hang up the gloves, but I plan to continue passing on the craft for as long as I can. I focus heavily on your boxing foundation: your stance, footwork, head movement and positioning and, of course, your fundamental punch patterns and punch technique. There will be lots of shadowboxing, and a handful of partner exercises to help make sense of the dance!
Boxing Achievements:
- 50+ amateur fights
- 3x Ontario Champion (bantamweight and flyweight)
- Pro record is 10-2, with 9 wins by KO (as of Mar 2025)
